MAPS!

Okay, attached (click map to download it, kind of a large file) is a brief overview map of Austin with major destinations highlighted. St. Mark's is the church where the welding, uh wedding, will occur and the reception will be at the Zilker clubhouse. These two places are only about 5 minutes apart. The Pharis and Joyce Homes are both within 2 mintures of the church as well. So very little driving for the wedding, whoo hoo. We will probably setup a shuttle once we get a head count.

The main lodging is along Congress Ave and downtown. This is also where the coolest, funkiest places to eat, shop, etc are located. No shopping at Prada ladies...I am working to track down a group rate at the Radisson as I know someone, who knows someone, more later.

I can share these placemarks for Google Earth just e-mail me if you want them and I will send the KMZ file.

The airport is about 20 minutes from Downtown and our house. So all in all everything is very, very close compared to Sao Paulo. So be prepared to have a drink instead of sitting in traffic.

Adding lists on the right

Hi!
Mo was really helpful and gave me a list of places to stay in Austin. She gave me the link to the hotel/etc, most of them aready to the pricing page. Of course, if you'd like to stay at someone's house, Matt and I will try to arrange that, just let me know, please. I will be adding to that. Also Mo's idea is to add a map, showing where the church, party and where the hotels are, so as soon as I get better at this (of if Stefan helps me) I'll add that.
